Ministry Inspects Al Wash-hi Majaza Copper-Gold Project

Alara Resources Limited, engaged in base and precious metals exploration and development, recently hosted His Excellency Mohsen bin Hamad Al Hadhrami, the Honourable Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MEM) of the Sultanate of Oman, at its Al Wash-hi Majaza Copper-Gold Project. The joint venture, Al Hadeetha Resources (AHRL), facilitated this visit for the Undersecretary and senior MEM directors to review the project’s ongoing developments.

Rapid Progress in Copper Plant Commissioning

The company has made significant strides in commissioning its copper plant, having completed the hot commissioning of the crushing circuit using ore from the Al Wash-hi Majaza mine. Alara Resources anticipates that the copper-concentrate production unit will commence operations by December 15, 2023.
