Alfiniti has acquired Alabama Tube Corporation, the only manufacturer of welded aluminum tube in the United States. This acquisition is a significant step in Alfiniti’s plan to become a comprehensive provider of aluminum tube and pipe products, including extruded, welded, and drawn varieties, along with a range of fabrication and finishing services.
Steve James, Managing Director of Alfiniti, emphasized that this acquisition aligns with the company’s strategy to broaden its product offerings. The company aims to enhance its selection of alloys, sizes, and services, including coiled tubing and additional fabrication options.
This acquisition strengthens Alfiniti’s market position by allowing it to produce a wider array of aluminum tubes domestically, thereby supporting the U.S. manufacturing sector. The expanded product line will better serve various industries needing welded aluminum tube products.
Welded aluminum tubes produced by Alabama Tube Corporation are integral in manufacturing everyday items such as telescoping poles, flagpoles, canoe and kayak paddles, shower curtain rods, conveyor rolls, and crutches.
