Bitterroot Resources and Altius Minerals Partner with Perseverance Metals on Nickel-Copper-PGM Project

Bitterroot Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: BTT) and Altius Minerals Corporation (TSX: ALS) have entered into an option agreement with Perseverance Metals Inc., granting Perseverance the exclusive option to acquire a 100% interest in the Voyageur Nickel-Copper-PGM Project. Voyageur covers an area of 680 square kilometers (262 square miles) and is situated approximately 65 kilometers west of Lundin Mining’s Eagle nickel-copper-PGM mine in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, the sole active primary nickel mine in the United States.

Michael Carr, CEO of Bitterroot, expressed his enthusiasm for supporting Perseverance, highlighting the group’s technical and financial expertise to rapidly advance the Voyageur Project. As a significant shareholder of Perseverance, Bitterroot’s shareholders will also gain exposure to two other high-quality magmatic nickel projects: Lac Gayot in Quebec and Armit Lake in NW Ontario, as well as any future property acquisitions made by Perseverance.

The Voyageur Project covers 668 square kilometers (258 square miles) of privately-owned mineral rights and 12 square kilometers (4.8 square miles) of State of Michigan metallic minerals leases in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Its proximity to the Eagle nickel-copper-PGM mine, which has been in production since 2014 and holds substantial pre-mining resources, makes the project strategically significant for potential nickel-copper-PGM exploration and development activities.
