Initiation of Maiden Drilling Program

C29 Metals Limited has announced the commencement of its maiden drilling program at the Mayfield Copper Project, which the company wholly owns. This drilling effort marks a significant step in exploring the potential of the Mayfield tenure.

Drilling Program Details

  • The drilling program includes up to 2,800 meters of reverse circulation drilling across 8 holes.
  • The targets for drilling were identified through extensive geochemical, gravity, and IP surveys.
  • The Mayfield project, spanning 91kmĀ², is strategically located in the Mt Isa copper and base metal region, surrounded by other key players like Carnaby Metals Ltd and Hammer Metals Ltd.
  • The drilling process is expected to span 14 to 21 days, with samples being sent to ALS in Mt Isa for assay analysis.

Experienced Exploration Team

The drilling operation is being conducted by experienced local drillers from AED, under the supervision of Craig Hall, a geologist with over 35 years of experience in exploration, development, and production in gold, copper, and lithium. Hall’s past accomplishments include significant contributions to Redbank Copper Ltd, where he led exploration efforts that resulted in several discovery holes and a 30% increase in their NT copper deposit resource base.
