Endomines Commences Gold Production at Hosko Site

Endomines Finland Oyj has officially begun gold production at its Hosko site, located along the Karelian Gold Line. This new development is expected to account for 10-20% of the company’s total production in 2024, with a focus initially placed on areas of high-grade gold.

The Hosko site boasts measured resources of approximately 35,000 tons, with a gold grade of 4.1 grams per ton, and total mineral resources are estimated at around 950,000 tons at a grade of 1.2 grams per ton. This translates to roughly 36,300 ounces of gold. Beyond these figures, the site is recognized for its significant mineral exploration potential.

Endomines CEO Kari Vyhtinen expressed optimism about the new mine’s role in the company’s growth, stating, “With the new Hosko mine, we are moving forward systematically towards more extensive operations in the Karelian Gold Line. With more production sites, we are also less dependent on the production of a single site, which will bring better production stability.” icon
