Neotech Secures Option for Thor Rare Earth Elements Project

Acquisition in the Mojave Desert

Neotech has entered into an option agreement with Willoughby & Associates to acquire a 100% interest in the Thor Rare Earth Elements Project. Located in the eastern Mojave Desert Region, approximately 119 kilometers south of Las Vegas, the project consists of 22 mining claims.

Near Significant REE Deposit

The Thor REE Project is situated near the Mountain Pass Mine, a notable rare earth element deposit in North America. This proximity to the mine, known for its contribution to the global rare earth supply, highlights the strategic location of the Thor REE Project.

Historical Exploration and Geological Features

The project area, previously explored for various minerals, is characterized by Precambrian age rocks conducive to hosting significant REE deposits. The primary mineralization includes monazite-apatite-xenotime vein systems.

Exploration Results

Exploration activities in the project’s primary REE mineralization zone, the Lopez Trend, have yielded promising REE values. High-grade samples from historical piles and trenches indicate the area’s potential for rare earth elements.

Accessibility and Infrastructure

The project claims are accessible by road, with a climate and terrain allowing for year-round work. Its location near Las Vegas and Bullhead City provides necessary support services for exploration and mining operations.

Future Exploration and Potential

Neotech plans to commence a Phase I exploration program to define potential REE targets through detailed ground geophysics, trenching, sampling, and initial drilling. icon
