RR Recharge Reports Inferred Mineral Resource of 143,000 Tonnes of Lithium Metal at Pocitos

In-depth Analysis of Pocitos Project

RR Recharge Resources has released an inferred mineral resource estimate for the Pocitos I and II lithium brine project in Salta province, Argentina. Authored by WSP Australia the report estimates 143,000 tonnes of lithium metal and 760,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE).

Project Potential and Revenue Projections

The potential mine life of the project is estimated at 38 years, assuming 100-per-cent recovery. WSP’s report, based on the current Li2CO3 price, projects annual revenue at $338 million (U.S.). The detailed block model extends to approximately 200 meters in depth.

Exploration and Production Well Costs

The cost to progress to the next milestone of a measured and indicated resource is estimated at approximately $935,000 (U.S.), with an alternative two-well program costing around $1.3 million. These figures include taxes.

Extraction and Production Plan

Ekosolve has provided cost estimates for a 20,000-tonne lithium carbonate plant using solvent extraction, including an HCl acid plant and a lithium carbonate plant. The report from WSP utilized data from various technical sources to prepare this resource estimate.

Company’s Response and Future Plans

David Greenway, president and CEO of RR Recharge, has expressed his excitement about the project’s potential, emphasizing the annual revenue projection and the project’s progression. Phillip Thomas, COO and director, recently visited Shanghai to discuss potential offtake agreements for lithium production.

Strategic Partnerships and Technological Integration

The company’s visit to Shanghai, China, included meetings with Richlink Capital Pty. Ltd., exploring the possibility of supplying lithium carbonate to their clients. The integration of Ekosolve’s direct lithium extraction technology at Pocitos is a key component of this strategy. icon
