Savannah Resources Announces Successful Resolutions at Annual General Meeting

Savannah Resources, a European lithium development company, announced that all resolutions were passed at its Annual General Meeting held today. The proxy votes revealed strong shareholder support for each resolution.

The resolution to receive the report of the Directors and the audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2023 was approved with 751,158,061 votes for and only 294,600 against, with a total of 751,736,445 votes cast.

Emanuel Proença was re-appointed as a Director with 750,785,237 votes in favor and 666,692 against. Bruce Griffin also secured re-appointment as a Director with 741,427,255 votes for and 10,024,674 against. Mohamed Sulaiman’s re-appointment as a Director received 746,027,228 votes in favor and 5,424,701 against.

Additionally, the re-appointment of BDO as auditors of the Company was confirmed with 750,994,606 votes for and 439,331 against, authorizing the Directors to determine the auditors’ remuneration.

The resolution to authorize the Directors to allot equity securities up to a maximum nominal amount of GBP 7,290,000 was approved with 640,070,592 votes for and 111,187,459 against. Lastly, the Directors were empowered to dis-apply statutory pre-emption rights up to a maximum aggregate nominal amount of GBP 6,530,000, receiving 639,585,383 votes in favor and 111,711,033 against. icon
