Si6 Metals Completes Drilling in Botswana with Promising Nickel-Copper Findings

Successful Drilling Program in Botswana

Si6 Metals has concluded its first-phase drilling program across its Botswana projects, yielding optimistic results for its precious and base metals prospects. The program, covering 5690 meters, included both reverse-circulation and diamond drilling across the company’s high-grade copper-silver projects at Dibete and Airstrip, as well as the Maibele North nickel-copper-platinum group elements (PGE) site.

Significant Drill Results

Notable findings from the Dibete project include high-grade copper and silver, with results showing 6.15m at 7.2% copper and 182g/t silver, including segments with even higher copper and silver grades. Additionally, the Maibele North project showed promising visual nickel and copper sulphides, indicative of nickel-copper-PGE mineralization.

Future Plans and Resource Review

Si6 Metals aims to reassess the Maibele North mineral resource estimate and explore open-pit mining and nickel-copper-PGE sulphide production options. Plans for a field campaign next year to advance multiple targets are also in the pipeline.

Positive Outlook for Nickel Market

The growing demand for nickel in electric vehicle batteries and expected recovery in stainless steel production bodes well for Si6 Metals, as it awaits its pending assay results to further develop its nickel resource. icon
