Sinomine Resource Anticipates Growth in Lithium Salt Product Output and Sales for 2024

Sinomine Resource has projected a steady increase in the production and sales of its lithium salt products throughout 2024. This optimism is underpinned by the recent completion of significant production lines at the Bikita Lithium Mine in Zimbabwe, including a 2 million ton/year lithium feldspar and a 2 million ton/year spodumene production line. These developments have enabled continuous shipment of lithium concentrate to China, satisfying the raw material requirements of domestic smelters.

The company’s current infrastructure includes a versatile production line with a capacity to produce 60,000 tons/year of battery-grade lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide. Recognized for their high quality and industry reputation, Sinomine Resource’s lithium salt products are well-positioned to meet the increasing demands of the market.

This forecast comes at a time when the global demand for lithium, a critical component in battery technology, continues to rise amidst the push for electric vehicles and renewable energy solutions. Sinomine Resource’s strategic investments in mining and processing capabilities are set to capitalize on this growing market, ensuring a steady supply of essential lithium products to meet both current and future demands. icon
