Soltech Energy’s E-Mobility to Develop Mobile Charging Stations for Boliden’s Battery-Powered Mining Machines

Soltech Energy’s subsidiary, E-Mobility, has signed an agreement with Boliden to develop mobile charging stations for battery-powered mining machines at the Kristineberg mine. This development was announced in a press release, marking a significant innovation in mining technology.

Initially, the agreement covers the creation of three charging stations. According to Soltech, this solution introduces a new product to the market. Martin Götesson, CEO of E-Mobility, expressed enthusiasm for the project, highlighting the high demands on innovation and technical expertise it entails.

“We are very pleased to be entrusted with a product development that places high demands on innovation and technical expertise. The mobile charging stations for the mining machines will save a lot of time, space, and create a smarter charging infrastructure in the mining system. I’d be surprised if more metal and mining operators don’t start looking at this type of tech solution and follow in Boliden’s footsteps in the future,” Götesson stated. icon
