XL Axiata Aims for Top Spot in Global Mining Sector Network Services

In recent developments, XL Axiata has expressed its intentions to enhance its offerings within the enterprise segment, particularly aiming for the business-to-business (B2B) market in the mining industry. The company’s Private Network service is already being utilized by companies like PT Vale Indonesia and PT Pamapersada Nusantara, with the latter benefiting from XL Axiata’s LTE hybrid network services in East Kalimantan.

Yessie Dianty Yosetya, the Director of XL Axiata, mentioned ongoing discussions with various other mining corporations. Over the upcoming three years, the company hopes to increase its foothold within the mining sector, with a target of collaborating with at least 50% of the large mines in Indonesia.

In line with industry trends toward sustainability, XL Axiata is also exploring partnerships with mining companies emphasizing green practices. Their XL Axiata Business Solutions (XLABS) offerings will be geared towards helping these entities reduce carbon emissions.

Beyond the mining arena, XL Axiata continues its engagement with a broad spectrum of industries. With an existing clientele of 3,000 companies spanning from finance to SMEs, they’re also looking at opportunities in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and logistics sectors, recognizing potential growth areas in the market.
