Yonggang Group and CITIC Metals marked a significant milestone in their longstanding partnership by signing a strategic cooperation agreement on Niobium products for 2024. The ceremony, held on March 13th at the Yonglian Council Chamber, was attended by notable industry leaders, including Mr. Zhang Wei from CITIC Metal, Mr. Jefferson from CBMM China, alongside Mr. Hu Junhui and Mr. Chen Jialu from Yonggang Group.
During the event, Mr. Hu Junhui emphasized the pivotal role of CITIC Metals in Yongsteel Group’s development over the past two decades, providing stable and high-quality procurement channels that have underpinned Yongsteel’s growth. He highlighted the importance of this agreement in deepening the tripartite collaboration between Yonggang Group, CITIC Metals, and CBMM. The partnership aims to stabilize long-term relationships, enhance Niobium micro-alloying technology exchange, and promote the use of high-quality Niobium, driving towards shared success.
Mr. Zhang Wei reminisced about the fruitful technical and commercial cooperation with Yonggang and outlined CITIC Metals’ development. He referenced the 2021 branch co-construction agreement that bolstered both parties’ production and operations, establishing a foundation for mutual benefit and growth. Mr. Zhang expressed optimism for expanding this collaboration, exploring new opportunities for joint success.
The strategic agreement signed during the ceremony sets the stage for both companies to capitalize on their synergies in Niobium products throughout 2024. Following the signing, CITIC Metals, CBMM, and Yonggang engaged in fruitful discussions about the steel market’s future, Niobium technology applications, and the R&D of Niobium iron products, setting a promising direction for their collaborative efforts in the coming year.
