This partnership focuses on Alba’s Reduction Line 6, aiming to enhance its operational efficiency and sustainability objectives.

The agreement, signed by Alba CEO Ali Al Baqali and EGA CEO Abdulnasser Bin Kalban, includes a comprehensive suite of services such as onsite and remote technical support, monitoring, operational consultation, process audits, technical training, and hands-on operational assistance.

Ali Al Baqali highlighted the significance of EGA’s DX+ Ultra technology in the success of Reduction Line 6 and expressed enthusiasm for the ongoing partnership’s potential to bolster Alba’s local talent and sustainability goals. Abdulnasser Bin Kalban emphasized the shared values between EGA and Alba, particularly in promoting sustainable development, and outlined EGA’s commitment to advancing aluminium production technology.

Reduction Line 6, which became operational on December 13, 2018, and achieved full ramp-up in 2019, has increased Alba’s production capacity to over 1.6 million metric tonnes annually, marking a significant advancement in the company’s output capabilities.
