Anglesey Mining Appoints New CEO to Advance Parys Mountain Project

Anglesey Mining announced today the appointment of Rob Marsden as the new Chief Executive Officer effective May 1, 2024. Marsden, a seasoned mining engineer with 29 years of international experience, will lead the development of the Parys Mountain Cu-Zn-Pb-Ag-Au VMS deposit in North Wales and oversee the company's iron ore investments.

Rob Marsden's career began at the Camborne School of Mines, graduating in 1995, followed by an extensive tenure at Rio Tinto where he held various technical, operational, and managerial roles across multiple continents including South Africa, Australia, France, and the USA. In 2013, he founded MarsdenGray, a consultancy in the UK, leveraging his broad expertise in mining project planning, operation, and evaluation.

Marsden's experience spans a diverse portfolio of commodities, such as copper, diamonds, gold, silver, coal, industrial minerals, and iron ore with assignments in countries including Australia, Botswana, Brazil, Chile, Canada, Ghana, Madagascar, Peru, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.

In addition to his new role, Marsden's current directorship includes MarsdenGray, and his past directorial roles comprise positions at Lorenzo Investments and NRR Group. He holds 251,103 Ordinary Shares in Anglesey Mining, with no further disclosures required under the AIM Rules for Companies.
