Memorandum of Understanding Signed

Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation, through its subsidiary Azeraluminium, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute for Advanced Engineering and Lemon Metal from the Republic of Korea. This collaboration focuses on the development of the aluminium industry, including the production of aluminium alloys and the establishment of research centers.

Details of the Cooperation

The memorandum encompasses various aspects of technological development and research in the aluminium sector. The Institute for Advanced Engineering, a prominent organization in Korea known for its scientific research on production technologies, brings significant expertise to the table. Meanwhile, Lemon Metal, specializing in aluminium materials and part of Nedec, is recognized for its global supply of products to the automotive, energy, telecommunications, and IT industries.

Visit to Ganja Aluminium Complex

As part of this collaboration, a delegation from the Korean entities will visit the Ganja Aluminium Complex in the city of Ganja on November 14, 2023. This visit aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the ongoing production processes and explore potential areas for joint projects and technological advancements.

The partnership marks a significant step towards diversifying Azerbaijan's industrial portfolio and enhancing competitive product development within the aluminium industry.
