China's production of primary aluminum reached 3.59 million tons in March 2024, marking a 7.4% increase compared to the same month last year. This statistic was highlighted in a recent report by Reuters, emphasizing China’s continuing expansion in aluminum production amid global economic shifts.

For the first quarter of 2024, the total production amounted to 10.69 million tons, which represents a 6.8% rise year-on-year. This growth underscores China's robust industrial capabilities, particularly in the production of aluminum—a critical material used widely in the construction, transportation, and packaging industries, among others.
