In a significant development for Ingushetia's industrial sector, a new aluminium alloy plant has been inaugurated at the Ali-Yurt industrial and investment site. The facility, boasting an annual production capacity of 10,000 tonnes, marks a pivotal step towards enhancing Russia's technological sovereignty and boosting local socio-economic growth. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and the head of the region, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov.

The RIAL plant, a venture by the RIAC group of companies, is set to play a crucial role in reducing import dependency by facilitating the domestic production of aluminium alloy ingots. These ingots, produced from scrap aluminium alloy, are intended for both the company's profile production and external sales. Deputy Prime Minister Novak underscored the project's alignment with President Vladimir Putin's directive to ensure technological sovereignty, highlighting the government's support for such industrial undertakings.

Beyond its industrial significance, the plant promises substantial socio-economic benefits for the region. Over 70 new job opportunities are expected to arise, coupled with considerable tax contributions to the local economy. Kalimatov emphasized the project's role in generating employment and enhancing the region's fiscal health.

Situated on a 1.5-hectare site, the plant represents an investment of over 500 million rubles. This funding encompasses both the initiator's capital and borrowed resources, with 372 million rubles allocated from the former.
