Nordisk Bergteknik Extends Drilling Contract with Boliden

Nordisk Bergteknik has extended its framework agreement with Boliden for production drilling in open pit mines. The updated contract, which focuses on the Aitik copper mine, is valued at SEK 500 million over its duration.

Originally signed in 2020, the initial agreement had a five-year term with a possible two-year extension. Following recent negotiations, the new contract will commence in 2024 and continue for three years, with an option for an additional three-year extension. This agreement secures the continuation of production drilling services in the Berg Sverige segment.

The extension ensures Nordisk Bergteknik's ongoing involvement in one of Sweden's major mining operations, contributing significantly to the company's revenue and operations through 2029.
