Nornickel Announces Strategic Joint Venture and Facility Relocation to Boost Revenue and Job Creation
Nornickel has unveiled a transformative development strategy, which includes forming a joint venture with international partners and relocating part of its Copper Plant from Norilsk to China. The restructured facilities will be equipped with modern copper concentrate preparation and industrial 3D printing capabilities.
This strategic shift is expected to significantly enhance Nornickel's financial performance, generating over 550 billion rubles annually in additional revenue. Additionally, it will contribute an extra 40 billion rubles in tax revenues each year. The move is also poised to create several thousand new jobs, marking a substantial economic impact.
