Rincon Resources Expands Exploration Territory in West Arunta Region

Rincon Resources has made significant strides in expanding its exploration footprint within the West Arunta region of Western Australia. The company has applied for a new exploration licence, extending its reach in the area to over 260 square kilometers. This latest application connects to Rincon's existing tenements and encompasses the historical 'Mantati' occurrence, known for its copper-lead-zinc mineralization, which aligns with the Central Australian Suture (CAS), a region noted for its geological potential.

The 'Mantati' site, interestingly, has not undergone any drill testing. Historical surface sampling by BHP Limited highlighted anomalous gold and silver results, with silver peaking at 7.3g/t. These findings are consistent with high-grade silver results discovered at Rincon’s Pokali IOCG/REE Prospect, underscoring the area's mineral richness and diversity.

In addition to the new licence application, Rincon has successfully secured the exploration licence E80/5761, strategically located adjacent to Norwest Minerals’ Arunta West REE Project. This expansion not only solidifies Rincon's position in the region but also opens up new avenues for exploration and potential discovery.

Rincon’s Managing Director, Gary Harvey, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, "We continue to review and seek opportunities to enhance our West Arunta Project area. With the new land acquisition adjacent to our current tenements and including the Mantati mineral occurrence, we're consolidating a significant package of ground along the CAS. This area is highly prospective for a variety of deposit types, including IOCG, carbonatite-style REE, orogenic gold, and other base metals."

This development marks a promising start to 2024 for Rincon Resources as it prepares for upcoming diamond and RC drilling activities. The expansion not only demonstrates the company's proactive strategy in securing highly prospective lands but also highlights the potential for new mineral discoveries in the West Arunta region.
