RUSAL has announced plans to introduce machine vision monitoring technology in the electrolysis workshops of five of its aluminum plants, with an investment of approximately 1.6 billion rubles. The technology will be implemented at the Krasnoyarsk, Bratsk, Novokuznetsk, Irkutsk, and Volgograd aluminum plants by 2027.

The machine vision monitoring system will enhance the efficiency and environmental performance of the electrolysis workshops, which operate using RUSAL's EcoSoderberg technology. This technology significantly reduces environmental impact compared to traditional Soderberg methods.

RUSAL, a major Russian aluminum producer, operates in 20 countries across five continents. The company’s ordinary shares are traded on both the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Moscow Stock Exchange.
