ZS Europe to Invest €9.7 Million in New High-Tech Plant in Bulgaria

Bulgarian car parts producer ZS Europe, a subsidiary of China's Shanghai Unison Aluminium Products, will invest BGN19 million (€9.7 million) in a new high-tech plant in the Trakia Economic Zone near Plovdiv. This investment was announced by the innovation ministry on June 10.

The new facility will produce aluminum parts for the automotive industry and is expected to create 100 jobs. ZS Europe specializes in the research, development, and production of aluminum and automotive parts, as well as the trade of related goods and technologies.

In March, Plovdiv's business development unit revealed that ZS Europe's parent company had initiated a €35 million investment in another plant within the Trakia Economic Zone.
