Ivanhoe Electric Advances Santa Cruz Copper Project with Key Consultant Selection

Ivanhoe Electric Executive Chairman Robert Friedland and President and CEO Taylor Melvin have provided an update on the Santa Cruz Copper Project in Arizona, highlighting recent progress in drilling activities and the selection of external consultants for the Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS).

Taylor Melvin remarked that choosing lead external consultants marks a significant milestone for the advancement of the high-grade underground copper project on private land in Arizona. Ivanhoe Electric has selected Fluor Enterprises as the Lead Consultant for the PFS. Fluor is recognized globally for its expertise in design, engineering, and construction of mining projects. Fluor's role will involve compiling and integrating the PFS workstreams.

Fluor, with its extensive experience in mining and metals project development, has been involved in many of America's largest copper mines by annual production. Ivanhoe Electric's dedicated team remains on schedule to deliver the completed PFS by the end of the second quarter in 2025, demonstrating significant progress at Santa Cruz.
