US Zinc Mine Production Increases in March 2024

According to the latest update from the United States Geological Survey (USGS), domestic mine production of recoverable zinc in the US reached 70,800 metric tons in March 2024. For the year through March, recoverable mine production totaled 190,000 metric tons, marking a 6% increase compared to the same period in 2023.

Average daily recoverable mine production in March was 2,280 metric tons, an 18% increase from the previous month and a 22% increase compared to March 2023.
