JordProxa and Zelandez Partner to Boost Lithium Supply in the Americas
JordProxa and Zelandez have announced a new partnership aimed at accelerating lithium production from brine mining companies in North and South America. The collaboration was formalized in a signing ceremony in Las Vegas with Elie Sakhat, Director of JordProxa, and Gene Morgan, CEO of Zelandez.
This partnership combines JordProxa's expertise in modular plant design with Zelandez's advanced lithium brinefield technology. Their primary focus will be deploying Zelandez's Early Lithium Carbonation Facility (ErLi), a prefabricated unit designed to quickly monetize high-quality lithium reserves before larger facilities are built.
Gene Morgan highlighted the partnership's goal to enhance the long-term viability of lithium brine extraction by enabling early cash flow for projects. Elie Sakhat noted the unique integration of Zelandez's brinefield management services with JordProxa's modular processing system, which will unlock more high-quality lithium assets.
JordProxa will handle the engineering, fabrication, and technical support for ErLi's modules. Clint Van Marrewijk, co-founder of Zelandez, emphasized the importance of prefabricated plants in boosting the battery-grade lithium supply to the United States.
This collaboration positions JordProxa within Zelandez's technology alliance network, alongside top-tier partners in Direct Lithium Extraction, water treatment, and drilling, supported by EXIM Bank financing from the United States.
