Sienna Resources Acquires Stonesthrow Gold Project in Saskatchewan

June 20, 2024

Sienna Resources has announced the acquisition of the Stonesthrow Gold Project in Saskatchewan, a 13,300-acre property with potential for gold. This new project directly borders Ramp Metals Inc, which recently reported significant gold and silver mineralization, including 73.55 grams per tonne of gold and 19.50 grams per tonne of silver. Sienna's management cautions that past results or discoveries on nearby properties may not necessarily indicate mineralization on their own property.

Jason Gigliotti, President of Sienna, expressed optimism about the acquisition, stating, "We are building up our assets in Saskatchewan, one of the most mining-friendly jurisdictions in the world. The new gold project borders Ramp Metals Inc, which recently announced a significant gold discovery. Their shares have surged significantly on this news, indicating a promising development. Sienna management is very optimistic about this area and looks forward to commencing operations as soon as possible."

Additionally, Sienna recently acquired the Case Lake West Cesium and Spodumene Pegmatite Project in Ontario. This project spans approximately 2,200 acres and borders Power Metals Corp's Case Lake cesium and pegmatite swarm discovery. Power Metals reported exceptional cesium results at Case Lake, further highlighting the potential of this growing cesium district. However, Sienna management emphasizes that past results or discoveries on nearby properties may not necessarily reflect the potential of their own projects.
