Eurobattery Minerals Signs Ten-Year Offtake Agreement with Boliden

Eurobattery Minerals has signed a non-binding offtake agreement with Boliden for its Hautalampi battery minerals project in Finland. The agreement, set to last for at least ten years, marks a significant step forward for the company’s plans to produce carbon-free critical raw materials.

Roberto García Martínez, CEO of Eurobattery Minerals, praised the agreement as a crucial milestone, highlighting the strong relationship established with Boliden during negotiations. "This partnership with Boliden paves the way for our ambitious plans in Finland and sets a solid foundation for future collaboration," he said.

No financial details were disclosed in the announcement.

Eurobattery Minerals is also working towards securing similar agreements for nickel and cobalt as it continues to develop its strategic position in the battery minerals market.
