American Salars Acquires Xenia Lithium Projects in Quebec

American Salars Lithium has announced the acquisition of the Xenia West and East lithium projects through a mineral claim purchase agreement. The projects, covering 92 mining claims across approximately 5,382 hectares, are located 30 kilometers southeast of Val-d'Or, Quebec, and accessible via Highway 117.

The Xenia projects are adjacent to established lithium operations by Sayona Mining and Brunswick Exploration. The geological setting, near the Réservoir Decelles Batholith, includes muscovite-bearing pegmatites that are considered highly prospective for lithium exploration. Historically, the area has seen limited focus on pegmatite discovery, making it a promising target for lithium development.

Under the agreement, American Salars will acquire a 100% interest in the projects by issuing 50,000 common shares to Quartier Mineral Ltd. The company emphasized its strategy of acquiring low-cost, accessible projects in established mining districts, aligning with its long-term focus on lithium development in Quebec and Argentina.
