The first shipment of copper-gold concentrate from Alara Resources' Al Wash-hi Majaza Copper Project is scheduled for 27 May 2024. This shipment marks a significant milestone for Alara's 51% owned Oman joint venture, Al Hadeetha Resources LLC, initiating revenue generation from the copper-gold mine.

In addition, the Omani Ministry of Energy and Minerals has renewed the exploration license for Block 8, covering an area of 487 km², held by Alara’s joint venture company Awtad Copper LLC. This renewal had been pending since 2013. Alara currently holds a 10% interest in Awtad Copper LLC, with the option to increase this to up to 70%.

Preliminary exploration activities conducted by Alara in Block 8 have identified potential prospects for further detailed exploration, positioning the company for future growth and development in the region.
