VSMPO-AVISMA to Build Long Product Rolling Complex in Titanium Valley by 2029

VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation plans to commission a long product rolling complex in the Titanium Valley special economic zone in the Sverdlovsk Region, Russia by 2029. Construction of the facility is set to begin in 2025, according to Oblastnaya Gazeta correspondent Andrey Meshavkin.

"We have ambitious plans and develop a new sensational program every year. Our most ambitious project today is the construction of a sort-rolling complex in the special economic zone 'Titanium Valley'. The cost of this project exceeds $300 million" said Dmitry Trifonov, General Director of VSMPO-AVISMA.

Trifonov noted that the design phase is currently underway and is expected to be completed by the end of this year. "We plan to start construction in 2025, with the tentative date of commissioning by the end of 2028 or the first half of 2029," he added.

The new facility will create more than 300 jobs and will span approximately 50,000 square meters. The project will also include the development of necessary engineering and communal infrastructure within the special economic zone.
