Hydro CFO Pal Kildemo to Join Emirates Global Aluminium as CFO

Pal Kildemo, the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Norwegian aluminium and renewable energy company Norsk Hydro ASA, is set to depart the firm. Announced by Hydro, Kildemo will transition into the role of CFO at Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), a leading aluminium producer based in the United Arab Emirates.

Kildemo, who has been a part of Hydro since 2008 and took on the CFO role in August 2019, will remain with the company until August 31, at the latest. Hydro has begun the search for a new CFO to fill the upcoming vacancy.

Throughout his tenure at Hydro, Kildemo has held several significant positions, contributing to the company's growth and strategic development. His departure comes after Hydro reported a loss from continuing operations in the fourth quarter, contrasting with the previous year's profit, despite an increase in total revenue and income for the quarter.
