Sienna Resources Acquires New Cesium and Spodumene Pegmatite Project in Ontario

May 23, 2024

Sienna Resources has announced the acquisition of the new "Case Lake West Cesium and Spodumene Pegmatite Project" in the Larder Lake Mining division of Ontario, Canada. The project, covering approximately 2,200 contiguous acres, is located roughly 100 km north of Kirkland Lake, NE Ontario, and directly borders Power Metals Corp's Case Lake cesium and pegmatite swarm discovery. This acquisition follows Power Metals' recent announcement on May 22, 2024, of "world-class cesium results up to 18.13% at Case Lake."

Jason Gigliotti, President of Sienna, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, highlighting the strategic importance of the project and the promising results from the neighboring Power Metals' discovery. He noted that the region is currently very active and that Sienna is keen to commence operations soon. He also emphasized the company's strong portfolio of assets focused on uranium, cesium, and lithium, particularly in well-known mining regions like Ontario.

Sienna has been building a robust portfolio in 2024, including the acquisition of the "Uranium Town Project" (10,357 acres) bordering Denison Mines Corporation, the "Dragon Uranium Project" (10,845 acres) bordering Cameco Corporation, and the "Atomic Uranium Project" (55,440 acres) in the Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan. Additionally, Sienna recently expanded its "Elko Lithium Project" in Elko County, Nevada, consisting of approximately 1,840 contiguous acres directly bordering Surge Battery Metals' "Nevada North Lithium Project."

Sienna is also a significant landholder in Clayton Valley, Nevada, home to the only lithium production in North America. Their projects in this region include the Blue Clay Lithium Project, the Silver Peak South Project, and the Clayton Valley Deep Basin Lithium Project, located near Tesla's Gigafactory.
