Dundee Precious Metals Announces Q3 Results and Record Gold Production at Ada Tepe

October 10, 2023

Dundee Precious Metals Inc. (TSX: DPM) shared its preliminary production outcomes for the period ending September 30, 2023. Key highlights include Ada Tepe mine's record-breaking achievement, having produced a substantial 33.8 K oz. of gold. This significant output aligns well with the company's optimistic projections for the mine.

Meanwhile, the Chelopech mine maintained its steady performance, churning out 40.3 K oz. of gold and 7.2 Mlbs. of copper. This production, being consistent with expectations, indicates that Chelopech is well-aligned to meet its 2023 production guidance.

The report also touched upon the Tsumeb smelter, which processed an estimated 21.8 Kt of complex concentrate. The figures were slightly underwhelming due to a planned maintenance shutdown. However, the smelter has resumed its operations and is projected to ramp up its production as Q4 progresses. Despite the anticipated uptick in production, the smelter's output might linger below the set guidance for the year.

CEO David Rae expressed confidence in the company's positioning to hit the 2023 gold and copper production milestones. The current results seem to underpin the company's vision for the rest of the year.
